Rapti floods submerged more than 300 houses in Banke

Kathmandu: More than 300 houses in the lower coastal areas of Banke district have been inundated due to the floods in the Rapti river due to continuous rains.
After incessant rains, more than 300 houses of Chaupheri, Krishi Chaupheri and Pazha villages under Duduwa rural municipality.

After the water entered the house, the local residents have taken shelter in the rescue shelter built by the village council.

As it is still raining, the water level in the river is increasing.
