Protest of court employees across the country on Sunday

Kathmandu: On Sunday, the employees working in the courts across the country are going to protest.

The employees of the country have prepared to stop work for 3 and a half hours on Sunday as a protest against the assault of Premika Tamang, by lawyer Amir Lamichhane while she was working at the district court in Lalitpur On June 28,.

The 4 national level staff organizations under the Supreme Court issued a joint statement and called on all the employees working in the courts to stop working in all the courts across the country from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm on Sunday.

Lamichhane, who committed the assault, has been detained as per the law, but instead of taking responsibility for the legal process, the Patan Bar High Court has demanded the release of lawyer Lamichhane.
