Kathmandu: Nepal won the first one-day practice match against Kenya by seven wickets.
Nepal met the target of 219 runs given by Kenya in 47 overs 2 balls.
Opener Asif Shaikh scored a century in Nepal’s win, he was dismissed for 110 runs. Another opener batsman got out after scoring 61 runs. Similarly, Gyanendra Malla scored 23 runs.
Kenya, who won the toss, was bowled out for 218 runs in 48 overs.
With the win, Nepal has taken a one-zero lead in three one-day practice matches. The second match of the series will be played on Saturday and the third match on Monday.
