Kathmandu: The government has decided to provide education fund up to Rs 500,000 to the children of civil servants.
On the basis of educational qualifications, a policy has been formulated to spend up to Rs. 500,000.
On Wednesday, the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration issued a guideline, 2078 BS, on providing educational incentive scholarships to the children of civil servants.
According to the directive, the sons and daughters of the permanent employees and the children of the former civil servants who are currently employed in public institutions will get educational incentive scholarships.
The Ministry of General Administration has stated that the quota for educational incentive scholarship will be based on the inclusive percentage in the federal civil service law.
According to the ministry, a seven-member committee will be formed under the chairmanship of the secretary of the ministry of general administration to manage the educational incentive scholarship.
