Deuba says Nepal congress is ready to accept court’s decision regarding election

Kathmandu: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has led the country towards polarization by abruptly dissolving the House of Representatives.

Stating that the country is divided into pros and cons for the restoration of the parliament, he said that the decision of the court would be acceptable.

Addressing the Gandaki Pradesh Conference of the Nepal Magar Association on Thursday, Deuba said that he would accept the court’s reinstatement. He said, “We accept if the court tells us to reinstate, we accept even if it says to hold elections.”

He reiterated that he should not tell the court to do this or that by holding a procession. He said that the Congress would not be able to take out a procession if it came to a decision based on the procession.
