Dahal-Nepal faction calls central members to come with citizenship and identity card

Kathmandu: The Dahal-Nepal faction of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has directed all the central members to be present at party’s headquarter on Wednesday with the party’s identity card and their citizenship. Few days back in an informal meeting, the central members have been directed not to leave the Capital Valley and to stay in touch with the party office.

A meeting of the secretariat held at Singha Durbar on Monday decided to hold a meeting of the central committee at 1 pm on Wednesday and make it mandatory for the leaders of his group to attend the meeting.

Leaders of various programs outside the Kathmandu Valley are returning to the capital under the direction of the party office. Some pre-scheduled programs have been postponed after the Central Committee meeting was convened.

A standing committee meeting is scheduled to be held before the central committee meeting. The meeting is scheduled to be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the party office. The group has submitted its party legitimacy letter to the Election Commission on January 24. However, the commission has not made a decision.
