Kathmandu: In the last 24 hours, an additional 2,936 people across the country have been infected with the corona virus.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 14,182 samples were tested for PCR, of which 2,006 were confirmed positive and 930 confirmed positive from antigen testing.
In the last 24 hours, 43 people have died from corona infection and another 1,775 have been cured.
The total number of people infected with the coronavirus in Nepal has reached 712,373. Of them, 9,506 have died and 628,243 have been free of infection.
According to the ministry, 24,274 of the actively infected people across the country are in home isolation. Similarly, 2,553 people are in institutional isolation. Of them, 578 are undergoing treatment in ICU and 174 in the ventilator.
