Cabinet gives green light to President Paudel’s 10-Day Europe trip

Kathmandu: The Government Endorses President Ram Chandra Paudel’s European Tour to France, Germany, and Italy.

“In a recent cabinet meeting, President Paudel’s visit to these three European nations from November 8 to 17 received official approval. During his trip, President Paudel is scheduled to participate in the Paris Peace Forum in France, followed by visits to Germany and Italy, with his return to Nepal slated for November 17.

Additionally, the government has granted permission for a delegation led by Chief Commissioner Prem Kumar Rai from the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority to attend the 10th Session of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption, taking place in the Atlantic of America from November 11 to 15.

Minister for Industry, Commerce, and Supplies, Ramesh Rijal, has been authorized to represent Nepal at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting in China.

Furthermore, the Council of Ministers has given the green light for the temporary appointment of 261 positions within the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development to oversee project and program implementation and management.

The cabinet meeting also saw approval for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Government of Nepal and the Republic of Korea, focusing on cooperation in areas such as technology transfer, commercialization, and modernization within the field of agriculture.
