Kathmandu: Confirmed reports indicate that a devastating earthquake struck Jajarkot last night, resulting in the tragic loss of 64 lives.
It has been revealed that 8 seriously injured individuals have been transferred to Surkhet for urgent medical treatment, while 21 others are currently receiving medical care at the district hospital.
Furthermore, it has been reported that Sarita Singh, the deputy mayor of Nalgarh municipality in Jajarkot, also lost her life in the earthquake.

It is estimated that numerous houses have been destroyed by the powerful tremors.
