Prime Minister Prachanda going to earthquake affected area

Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda is scheduled to visit the earthquake-stricken regions of Jajarkot and Rukum West.

According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, he plans to lead a team of healthcare professionals in the organization of rescue operations and medical treatment for the injured.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister has issued an appeal to all relevant stakeholders to actively participate in search, rescue, and relief efforts in the earthquake-affected areas.

He has urged all response mechanisms to mobilize effectively in order to provide immediate relief and rescue services to those in need.

It has been confirmed that a total of 63 casualties resulted from the recent earthquake, which struck the epicenter in Jajarkot last night, impacting both districts.
