Kathmandu: In the last 24 hours, an additional 1,857 people have been confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 1,516 people were tested positive in 9,409 PCR tests and 341 positive cases in 3,767 antigen tests.
In the last 24 hours, 2,222 people have been infected with the coronavirus and 27 have died due to the infection.
In the last 24 hours, 370 people have been found infected in Kathmandu district, 112 in Lalitpur and 67 in Bhaktapur. Similarly, 124 cases have been confirmed in Kaski, 118 in Sunsari, 115 in Jhapa, 112 in Chitwan, 75 in Morang, 58 in Makwanpur, 47 in Surkhet, 42 in Rupandehi and 27 in Tanahu.
There are 36,866 active cases of coronavirus in the country. Out of which 33,835 are in home isolation and 3,031 are in institutional isolation.
