Kathmandu: Corona virus infection has been confirmed in 1,388 people in the last 24 hours. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 1,214 people were tested positive in 7,259 PCR tests and 1,738 in 3,038 antigen tests, confirming the infection in 1,388 people.
In the last 24 hours, 2,260 people have been recovered though. Similarly, 24 people have died due to corona infection.
With the addition on Sunday, the total number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 759,222. At the same time, the number of deaths in Nepal has reached 10,714 and 712,712 people have become infection free.
According to the ministry, there are currently 35,796 active infected people across the country. Out of which 32,744 are in home isolation and 3,052 are in institutional isolation. Of the corona patients, 625 are being treated in the ICU and 167 in the ventilator.
