About 10,000 tourists arrive Nepal in September

Kathmandu: About 10,000 tourists have visited Nepal in a month. According to the Nepal Tourism Board, 9,898 tourists visited Nepal in September 2021.

In September 2019, 92,604 tourists had visited Nepal. Last year, in 2020, only 584 tourists visited this month. According to the Nepal Tourism Board, tourist arrivals, which declined after April, have improved after five months. According to the board’s statistics, 5,917 tourists visited the country in August.

Most of the foreigners who have come to Nepal are Indians. 3,523 tourists have come to Nepal from India in a month. A total of 1,864 tourists have come to Nepal from the United States, 438 from the United Kingdom and 233 from China.

According to the board, 3,734 tourists from SAARC countries, 585 from non-SAARC Asian countries, 1,733 from Europe, 81 from Australia-New Zealand, 2,125 from the Americas and 1,640 from other regions visited Nepal in a month.
