Kathmandu: Nepal Oil Corporation has increased the price of petroleum products. The Board of Directors has increased the price of petrol, diesel and kerosene by Rs 3 per liter with effect from Wednesday night.
Petrol will now costs Rs 136 per liter, while diesel and kerosene cost Rs 119 per liter. The price of aviation fuel has also gone up by Rs 5 per liter.
Similarly, the price of LP gas for cooking has also increased by Rs 75 per cylinder. In addition, consumers now have to pay Rs 1,575 for a cylinder.
The corporation claims that there is a deficit in petrol, diesel and LP gas even after this price adjustment.
