Six student organizations to protest against fuel price hike

Kathmandu: Six student organizations have demanded immediate withdrawal of fuel price hikes. The Communist Party of Nepal, led by Netra Bikram Chand Biplava, has also announced protest programs against the fuel price hike.

They have announced protest with the demand of repealing the increased price of petrol, diesel, kerosene, cooking gas and aviation fuel with effect from Thursday night.

Meanwhile, six different student organizations have also announced protests against the price hike. Akhil Krantikari, ANNISU, Samajwadi Bidyarthi Union, Akhil Krantikari have announced the movement in a joint statement.

They have handed over a memorandum to the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies today against the price hike. They will hold a sit-in demonstration on Friday from 9 am to 11 am.
