Kathmandu: Nepali spinner Sandeep Lamichhane has been rewared with ICC Player of the Month title. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has voted Sandeep the Player of the Month for September.
Along with Sandeep, Bangladesh’s left-arm orthodox Nasum Ahmed and US hard-hitting batsman Jaskaran Malhotra were nominated for the ICC Player of the Month award based on their performances in September.
Sandeep had a coveted performance in the League Two triangular series. He took 18 wickets in 6 ODIs. He bowled 4/35 and 6/11 against Papua New Guinea and 4/18 against Oman.
