Kathmandu: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CIB) on Wednesday arrested four more Chinese nationals in connection with the gold smuggling case.
Ding Segfa, Wen Tong, Li-Nengkai and Tian Mi are among the Chinese nationals who were arrested. The arrested Chinese citizens will be prosecuted under illegal gold smuggling and organized crime.
According to the CIB, they were arrested from different places in Kathmandu.
Earlier in July, Revenue Investigation Department seized 155 kg of ‘break shoes’ containing gold. But it got confirmed that there is only 60 kg of gold in those break shoes.
