Kathmandu: Vietnamese Ambassador to Nepal Nguyen Thanh Hai has ensured to initiate direct flight between Nepal and Vietnam.
In the program organized by the Nepal Vietnam Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday in honor of Ambassador Thanh Hai, he opined that although there is a high potential for cooperation between the two countries in the fields of trade, tourism and investment, connectivity has become a big issue.
Thus, he has promised to put an effort to short out this issue. Ambassador Thanh Hai also mentioned that there is a possibility of a direct flight to Kathmandu and Bhairahawa From Vietnam.
He expressed the view that cooperation in other fields including tourism will be expanded with the direct flight operation.
He also mentioned that it would be easy for tourists going to third countries such as Australia and Europe from Nepal via Vietnam transit.
