2 million visitors estimates to visit Pashupatinath temple on Mahashivaratri

Kathmandu: On the occasion of Shivaratri, two million devotees has been expected to visit the Pashupatinath temple.

Organizing a press meet today, Pashupati Area Development Fund informs that the preparation of Shivratri has been completed has estimated that about two million religious tourists will come on Shivratri.

The fund said that other management including traffic safety will be done in coordination with the security force.

The fund has claimed that the security arrangements are tight as the President herself is scheduled to visit Pashupatinath on Shivratri.

The fund has said that 8 million rupees has been allocated for Shivratri and will publish the expenditure details by the middle of March.
