Kathmandu: President Bidhya Devi Bhandari has rejected the ordinance regarding the Constitutional Council.
On Saturday’s decision and recommendation of the cabinet, Bhandari rejected the ordinance brought by the KP Sharma Oli-led government.
The Office of the President has stated that the Constitutional Council (Functions, Duties, Rights and Procedures) Ordinance, First Amendment Ordinance, 2078 BS has been repealed as per clause (b) of sub-section (2) of Article 114 of the Constitution of Nepal.
