PM Deuba says vaccination is his first priority

Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the main priority of his government is vaccination against coronavirus.

Responding to a question raised by lawmakers seeking a vote of confidence in the House of Representatives, he said vaccination is his only priority. Prime Minister Deuba said that the survival of the people is his priority over development.

Prime Minister Deuba has expressed dissatisfaction over the absence of outgoing Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli in the House of Representatives meeting. Responding to a question raised by lawmakers seeking a vote of confidence, Deuba said he would be happy if Oli came to parliament.

Oli did not attend Sunday’s meeting of the House of Representatives. On behalf of the CPN-UML, MP Pradip Gyawali, who is also the party spokesperson, expressed his views.
