Kathmandu: The government is preparing to test the speed of railway tracks tomorrow after 10 months of purchasing and bringing trains.
According to the Nepal Railway Company Limited, the speed test will be carried out on the Janakpur-Jayanagar railway track by a diesel locomotive of the East Central Railway of India.
The company has also requested the public to clear the railway tracks on Sunday for speed tests. All the settlements have been completed so far.
