Youth Chef competition to promote Nepali food in Int’l level

Kathmandu: A youth Chef competition is to be held at the international level to explore Nepali food.

The Chefs Association of Nepal, in collaboration with Global Nepal’s Chef Federation and the International Nepali Chef Society, is organizing a Youth Chef competition on Sunday.

Students of 11 colleges in the Kathmandu Valley will participate in the competition. According to the organizers, Surya Kiran Shrestha and Shyam Lama will be the national inspectors.

The first-place winner will get Rs 100,000, the second-place winner will get Rs 50,000 and the third place winner will get Rs 25,000.
