Kathmandu: CPN-UML ministers have submitted their resignations.
All the eight ministers of UML reached Baluwatar on Monday afternoon and submitted their resignations to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda.
Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel who became a minister from UML, Foreign Minister Bimala Rai Paudyal, Land Reform Cooperative and Poverty Alleviation Minister Rajendra Kumar Rai, Agriculture Minister Jwalakumari Sah, Women, Children and Senior Citizens Minister Bhagwati Chaudhary, Urban Development Minister Damodar Bhandari, Health Minister Padam Giri and Defense Minister Hari Upreti has submitted their resignation.
Earlier, the secretariat meeting held in the morning of UML had decided to withdraw its support from the Prime Minister and withdraw from the government.
