Two pilots mandatory for single engine chopper

Kathmandu: Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has made it mandatory to have two pilots even in single engine chopper. Currently, there is a rule of operating chopper flights with single pilot only.
But now, the CAAN has decided to make it mandatory to have two pilots even in small helicopters. Due to the geographical location of Nepal, the accident rate of small aircraft and helicopters is high. That is why such a decision has been taken to ensure air safety.
