Two arrested for possessing drugs on journalist’s motorcycle, police suspended

Kathmandu: The District Police Office, Rautahat has admitted that the innocent man was arrested with drugs. However, an official of the district branch of the Federation of Nepali Journalists has also been involved in the incident.

District Police Office, Rautahat has confirmed that Dhiraj Yadav and Jitesh Kumar Yadav were used by the Joint Secretary of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Rautahat, Sanjay Shahni to put drugs on a motorcycle. Shahni then called Assistant Inspector of Police Uday Prasad Yadav and police constable Manoj Shah to arrest him.

The two were arrested after the investigation revealed different facts. Rautahat police had arrested journalist Mohammad Mojubullah with the drug nitrate.
