Recovery rate increasing compared to infection rate

Kathmandu: In Nepal, the number of people recovering from corona infection is increasing in last three days.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, more people have recovered on Saturday, Sunday and Monday than are infected. This has reduced the number of corona infections in Nepal. The number of actively infected people on Monday is 38,351. Out of which 35,132 are in home isolation and 3,219 are in institutional isolation.

As many as 2,082 people were infected on Saturday while 2,382 have been recovered. On Sunday, 1,920 people were infected and 2,248 were recovered, while on Monday, 1,801 people were infected and 1,924 were recovered.

In the last 24 hours, 11,326 samples (PCR and antigen) tested positive for 1,801 people. In percentage terms, the infection rate is 17.61 percent.
