Dhading (Rashtriya Samachar Samiti): Three farmers in Dhading have been awarded with the President’s Best Farmer Award.
The award was distributed by the Dhadingbesi Agricultural Knowledge Center on the occasion of the 41st World Food Day.
According to Kamal Raj Sharma, Agriculture Development Officer at Krishi Knowledge Center, Dhading, the prizes were distributed to the selected farmers as per the President’s Best Farmer Award Program Implementation Procedure-2071 BS.
Yuddha Prasad Neupane on Buffalo farming, Daya Laxmi Shrestha on mild production, and Urmila Devi Karki on vegetable farming and poultry farming have received the award with 10,000 rupees cash each.
Eleven farmers had claimed the prize after the Agriculture Knowledge Center informed the farmers to claim the prize in August. The technical team of all the farmers had conducted on-site monitoring and recommended for the award.
