Kathmandu: The number of deaths due to corona infection in the world has crossed five million. The death toll from the corona virus has spread to more than five million seven thousand people around the world, according to the Voldemometer.
More than 7,65,700 people have been killed in the United States. Similarly, more than 607,000 people have died in Brazil and 457,700 in India. The corona virus, first confirmed 22 months ago in Wuhan, China, has become a global epidemic. So far, more than 246.9 million infections have been confirmed worldwide.
Of those confirmed infected, more than 223.6 million have recovered. Meanwhile, coronavirus infection has been confirmed for the first time in Tonga.
