Nepal Bar to protest against Chief Justice

Kathmandu: The agitating Nepal Bar Association is holding a protest program in the Supreme Court demanding the resignation of Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher JBR.

The association is going to hold a protest program in the Supreme Court from 10 am to 11 am today. The protest will last for three days from today.

Stating that Chief Justice Jabra has not been able to stop the distortion, inconsistency, corruption and maintain the cleanliness and dignity of the judiciary, the Nepal Bar Association has announced a protest program demanding his resignation.

A meeting of the bar held on October 29 had decided to give JBR five days to resign from the post of Chief Justice.
