So far, 29 people died of dengue in Nepal

Kathmandu: The number of deaths due to dengue spread across the country has reached 29.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, dengue has spread in 76 districts and 22,988 people have contracted dengue so far.

According to the ministry, 17,731 people have contracted dengue the most in Bagmati province. 2,821 people from Lumbini Province, 777 from Sudurpaschim Province, 591 from Province 1, 515 from Gandaki, 323 from Madhesh Province and 230 from Karnali Province have contracted dengue.

According to the ministry, a search and destroy campaign has been launched in Bhaktapur, Lalitpur and other districts with the highest number of infections.
