Nepal to celebrate ‘Tourism Decade’

Kathmandu: The cabinet has approved the tourism decade put forward by the government for the development of tourism.

The action plan to make the government visit Nepal as a decade from 2023 to 2033 was approved by the cabinet on Friday.

Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Jeevan Ram Shrestha had submitted a proposal for the decade of tourism to the cabinet with a 73-point action plan.
The campaign targeted to bring in 5 million tourism annually till 2033.

Minister Shrestha said that an action plan has been prepared based on the report of the task force and committee formed in the past to submit suggestions for the development and improvement of the tourism sector from the ministry.
