Situated at an elevation of 3250 m en route to Badimalika, it lies on the border between Kalikot district of Karnali province and Bajura district of Far West Province. This training aims to showcase the adventure tourism and skiing potential in this region, which experiences around 100 days of snowfall annually, with an average snow depth of 30 cm suitable for skiing.
During the opening ceremony, Bimal Kandel, manager of the Nepal Tourism Board, emphasized that skis serve not only for adventure tourism but also for rescue operations during Himalayan disasters. Hence, this training has been organized with active participation from the local community.
