Singapore Airlines flying back in Nepal after two decades

Kathmandu: With the merger of Singapore Air and Silk Air, Singapore Airlines is now expanding its services to Silk Air destinations.

In this connection, a Singapore Airlines flight landed in Nepal on Sunday after nearly two decades. According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), Singapore Airlines, the national flag carrier of Singapore, has merged with Silk Air.

Along with this, Singapore Airlines has now started flying to Nepal. In the past, Singapore Airlines used to come to Kathmandu. Singapore later suspended flights after Silk was introduced as a budget airline.

According to the authority, Singapore has been allowed to operate one flight every Sunday. Currently, Singapore has banned Nepali and foreign passengers from entering the country traveling from Nepal.

However, passengers can come to Nepal from Singapore.
