Kathmandu: An agreement has been reached between Nepal Securities Board and Nepal Private Equity Association.
The memorandum of understanding signed by Ramesh Kumar Hamal, Chairman of Securities Board and Siddhant Raj Pandey, Chairman of Nepal Private Equity Association.
Both the organizations reached the agreement to promote cooperation and development between the private and alternative investment industries in Nepal.
According to the Nepal Private Equity Association, the agreement has provided concrete form to cooperate for innovation, entrepreneurship and job creation through facilitating access to finance for businesses in Nepal.
According to the agreement, the Nepal Securities Board will provide regulatory assistance.
In addition, both parties will work for advocacy and promotion as well as training and information sharing for the alternative investment industry.
