Rising dengue threat in Nepal, 20 people die so far

Kathmandu: The death toll due to dengue infection in Nepal has reached 20 people.

In different parts of the country, 20 people died due to dengue infection. According to the Insect Disease Control Branch Under the Epidemiology and Disease Control Department so far, 16,587 dengue infections have been confirmed.

According to the data so far, the highest number of infections have been confirmed in Lalitpur with 4,604 people.

The number of people infected with dengue in Kathmandu valley has reached 9,771 with 4,454 in Kathmandu and 713 in Bhaktapur.
