Restriction order in Siraha lifted

Kathmandu: The prohibition order issued by the District Administration Office, Siraha has been lifted.

The District Administration Office, Siraha, had imposed a restriction on the East-West Highway for two days after the Janamat Party went on strike.

Issuing a notice, Chief District Officer Lal Babu Kawari informed that the ban has lifted after an all-party meeting held at the District Administration Office on Tuesday.

Farmer Yadav has been arrested for stealing wheat seeds stored by another village municipality of Siraha. He was released on a simple date by the Dhanusha District Court.

Chief District Officer Kawari said that 18 people arrested during the agitation were released as per the request of the all-party meeting.
