Kathmandu: The mortal remains of another Nepali student, Ganesh Kumar Nepali of Jaya Prithvi-6, Bajhang district, who was one of the 10 students killed in the Hamas attack in Israel on October 7, have been repatriated to Nepal.

This marks the fifth student to be brought back to Nepal, with plans to bring the remaining five after the necessary verification process in Israel.

The students had been in Israel as part of the ‘Learn and Earn’ program offered by Far West University.

Tragically, several other students lost their lives in the same attack, and one student is still missing.

Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayan Prakash Saud had earlier led a team that successfully rescued and repatriated 254 students from Israel.
