Kathmandu: Rabi Lamichhane has taken the certificate of Nepalese citizenship again from District Administration Office Kathmandu.
Lamichhane, who had already taken Nepali citizenship, gave up his Nepali citizenship after going to America.
But after renouncing the American citizenship, he had to get a certificate of Nepali citizenship through a new process, so he ran for the House of Representatives election based on his old citizenship.
After the Supreme Court ruled that the citizenship of Lamichhane, who became the Prime Minister and Home Minister after becoming an MP, he took the citizenship certificate again.
Due to his illegal citizenship, his MP and ministerial positions have been revoked.
