Kathmandu: Pushpa Bhusal of the Nepali Congress party has been elected as the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives from the ruling coalition.
Bhusal was elected with 148 votes in the elections held on Friday. 93 votes were cast against Bhusal.
One MP was neutral. Out of the 271 MPs in the House of Representatives, 242 were present.
