Kathmandu: The government has written to all the ministries to remove the gas cylinders from the Singha Durbar premises within the next month.
The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply is writing to all the ministries and agencies within the Singha Darbar, the budget to be implemented effectively.
The budget has stated, ‘Arrangements have been made to replace gas cylinders and use electric stoves in the Singha Darbar premises within mid-August.’
To implement this point, gas cylinders have to be removed from all the canteens of Singha Darbar.
The budget has announced to release gas cylinders to all public offices and residences within the metropolis and sub-metropolis within the next three months and gradually make the use of electric stoves nationwide.
