Protests against govt for justice of deceased Prem Prasad Acharya

Kathmandu: Demonstrations against the government were held to pressurize the demand of Prem Prasad Acharya, who self-immolated in front of the Federal Parliament house on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, there was a protest against the government demanding to fulfill the 25-point demands of Acharya.

Protests were held in Maitighar and Baneshwar areas of Kathmandu demanding the fulfillment of the demands of the deceased Acharya.

After the death of 37-year-old Acharya of Ilam, who attempted self-immolation by pouring petrol on himself on Tuesday, youths protested against the government demanding that his demands be addressed.

Before his death, the deceased Acharya had written a long ‘suspect note’ on social media saying that he was unable to work because of the obstacles of the state system and policy rules while trying to do various businesses and had to suffer huge financial loss due to the fact that he did not get the money he was supposed to get from the place where he worked.
