Kathmandu: Prohibition order has been relaxed in Kathmandu Valley and other districts from today. Private vehicles have started operating in Kathmandu from today. Gold shops, utensils, kitchenware, electrical, automobile showrooms, sparepart shops, mobile and computer shops will be opened in Kathmandu Valley on Tuesday, Sundays and Thursdays from 11 am to 4 pm.
Similarly, shopping malls and sports goods shops, clothing, shoes, fancy, cosmetic, sari, gifts, tailoring shops will be open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11 am to 4 pm. Food items, milk, fruits, vegetables, fish, meat, worship materials, department stores and stationery will be available till 11 am everyday.
Construction materials shop hardware, sanitary, furniture carpeting will be available to operate daily from 11 am to 6 pm. Online and take away service home delivery of essential items can be operated in Kathmandu Valley till 7 pm.
Meetings, cinema halls, party palaces, swimming pools, recreation areas, salons, beauty parlors, futsal, gymnasiums, libraries, zoos, spectator sports and crowded programs will be prohibited though.
