Kathmandu: In response to potential clashes, Chief District Officer Jitendra Basnet has declared a restricted area, spanning from Maitighar Mandala to New Baneshwar Chowk, for a duration of 30 days.
The move comes ahead of planned demonstrations by a youth association affiliated with UML and medical professional Durga Prasai.
The order cites concerns over maintaining peace and security with simultaneous protests from different groups.
The prohibited zone encompasses key areas from Padmodaya Mode to Sinha Darbar West Gate and emphasizes restrictions on gatherings exceeding five people and various protest activities.
