Kathmandu: President Bidhya Devi Bhandari has vaccinated against corona virus (Covid-19).
She had gone to the vaccination center of Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj to get vaccinated. Giving a brief response to the media after the corona vaccination, President Bhandari said that she was waiting for her own age group but was vaccinated as she had to visit Bangladesh.
She said, “I was convinced that it was okay to get it after everyone had got vaccinated. But as I had to visit Bangladesh I had to get it.”
She appealed to everyone to get vaccinated with confidence. Although it is natural to have some doubts as it is new, she said that the vaccine came only after several stages of testing. So far, around 150,000 people have been vaccinated till Sunday evening.
