Kathmandu: Executive Chairman of the ruling Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that further action will be taken if the ordinance on the Constitutional Council with not be withdrawn.
Addressing a gathering of leaders close to Prachanda and Madhav Kumar Nepal of province 1, Prachanda said that the implementation of withdrawing ordinance should not be delayed as it was the party’s decision to withdraw the ordinance.
According to Prachanda, Chairman and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had no choice but to withdraw the ordinance. “It is the party’s decision to withdraw the unconstitutional and apolitical ordinance. If it is disobeyed, we will go into action,” he said. Prachanda said that the ordinance was also brought as the Oli party was taking one step after another with a plan to split.
However, Prachanda said that they are ready to go for any alternative against the wrong move taken by PM Oli while protecting the party.
The meeting held in Parisdada was attended by Prachanda and Madhav of Province 1, district chairpersons, secretaries, and central members available in the capital.
