Nepal signs agreement with Bangladesh to import fertilizer

Kathmandu: An agreement has been reached between Nepal and a Bangladeshi government company to purchase 50,000 metric tonnes of urea fertilizer.

An agreement was signed between the Agricultural Ingredients Company Limited and the Bangladeshi Chemical Industries Company on Thursday, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development.

According to the ministry, there is an understanding to bring fertilizer within three months in two ways including urea bulk and cargo.
