Police arrests 13 people including 6 foreign nationals involved in drug smuggling

Kathmandu: Nepal Police has arrested 13 people including six foreign nationals involved in drug smuggling.

Four Thai nationals, two Indians and seven Nepali nationals are among those involved in the drug trade.

35-year-old Lakpa Sherpa of Solukhumbu was arrested from Kathmandu Metropolitan City on February 7.

During further investigation, Indian citizens Faiz Ahmed, Ayan Reza and Zakir Nadaf of Dhanusha, Deepak Tamang of Kavre and Lakshman Bakhti of Nuwakot were arrested.

On February, four Thai nationals were arrested with narcotic hashish.
