Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has directed the concerned authorities to administer the vaccine to all the citizens as per the target of the government by mid-April.
Prime Minister Deuba said that free vaccine would be provided to the citizens. ‘Let’s ask for vaccinations from donors too. Let’s request Let’s buy it ourselves but don’t let the shortage of vaccines, Deuba said, “Let’s make arrangements for free vaccination of the citizens.”
In the first meeting chaired by Prime Minister Deuba, the Ministry of Health and Population presented a report on the status of corona vaccine so far. According to Secretary at the Prime Minister’s Office, Neupane, by mid-October, 34 percent of citizens have received the first dose of the corona vaccine and 22 percent have received both.
The ministry also informed about the purchase of corona vaccine at the meeting.
