PM Deuba express dissatisfaction with bureaucracy

Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed dissatisfaction with the bureaucracy.

He said that it should be discussed whether only the political parties are responsible for the deterioration of the country or whether the bureaucracy is also responsible.

In a program organized on the occasion of Civil Service Day on Wednesday, Prime Minister Deuba said that unless the bureaucracy supports leaders, the country cannot move towards development.

He also said that the bureaucracy in local levels are also not being responsible towards their work.

Despite having essential facilities the civil servants are not working properly, he added. He also said that the government changes in every five years however the civil servants remain their till their retirement. Thus, the civil servants are more responsible for the country’s development.
